A good friend of ours just adopted a puppy, a boxer mix, from the local animal rescue group. They’ve been looking forward to adopting a dog for months now, so everyone’s excited about her coming home. I thought I’d offer a few photos of her this Friday:

Because Mahler was born in my folks’ shed, we know his actual birthday — kind of rare for cats taken in from the street. Anyhow, yesterday was the day, and he turned 3 years old. He got to celebrate with some premium cat food.
